چکیده
Water is among the top five global risks in terms of impacts translated through socio-economic and environmental challenges, influencing people's wellbeing. The situation grim water-scarce countries, which need to think act beyond conventional water resources tap unconventional supplies narrow gap between demand supply. Among resources, embedded fog increasingly seen as a source potable dry areas where intense prevalent. Although low maintenance option green technology supply freshwater, potential collect from air harvesting by far under-explored. Based on comprehensive analysis collection's research history since 1980, this study reveals that recent years have witnessed sharp increase related technological developments collection systems. Also, there an increased focus associated policy institutional aspects, economics, dimensions, capacity building, community participation, gender mainstreaming. In addition research, practice has also over time with emerging examples worldwide, notably Canary Islands, Chile, Colombia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Israel, Morocco, Namibia, Oman, Peru, South Africa. functional systems demonstrate engagement, women empowerment, enhanced training, active participation local institutions key drivers for effective provide sustainable freshwater communities.

Micro-Catchment Rain Water Harvesting Systems and fruit seedlings: Strategies and Research challenges
The use of Rain-Water Harvesting (RWH) systems for fruit seedling planting in addition to helping to make optimal use of runoff and soil and water conservation, will also help the production of agricultural and horticultural products. Accordingly, this study has focused on the investigation of the effects of RWH systems on the growth of fruit seedlings and their establishment, especially i...

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

abstract the limitation of water sources in most places all over the world, especially in arid and semi-arid lands is an important issue for those who live in these areas. many governments have dedicated their efforts toward finding new water resources to obtain water. fog and cap clouds harvesting are one of the candidate methods to produce pure water. many countries including chile, peru, ecu...
متن کاملOptimal design of permeable fiber network structures for fog harvesting.
Fog represents a large untapped source of potable water, especially in arid climates. Numerous plants and animals use textural and chemical features on their surfaces to harvest this precious resource. In this work, we investigate the influence of the surface wettability characteristics, length scale, and weave density on the fog-harvesting capability of woven meshes. We develop a combined hydr...
